Using products that contain alcohol or too strong of a salicylic acid can slough off enough of the protective layer of the skin to generate a body's response to repair the skin by spitting out body oils. Clearly that is not a desirable response and just when you thought your skin was squeaky clean your pores become large and your skin sticky again.
Many people get irritated until the skin is red and peeling and then they desperately reach for a heavier moisturizer to repair the damage. That may become a quick way to a disaster. It may take a couple of days before your skin will become congested and breakout.
What is a good acne skin product? The one that keeps the skin in balance. Not a dehydrating nor too rich. My best advise to everyone is not to look for acne reducing skin care, look for skin balancing and clearing skin care.
